"Meet My Best Friend"
Mosby is my handsome 8-year-old Yorkie. Yes, I admit it, I’m a dog mom! He’s more than a dog to me, he’s also my best friend. If you have not followed me on Instagram yet, you’re missing out on some of the adorable pictures of Mosby. He’s quite the celebrity there. Everytime I post a photo of him, the likes and the comments are through the roof. It never ceases to amaze me!
Mosby the Yorkie
Mosby may be a small dog, but he’s got a big personality. He’s a poster dog for Yorkshire Terrier breed. Whenever I’m on a break, I love hanging out with him because he’s such a sweet little dog and a loving companion.
I think Mosby’s personality fits the Las Vegas vibe. He’s such a glamorous dog who loves the attention—and he does attract a lot of attention wherever he goes. The great thing with having a small dog is that he’s suitable for apartment- or condo-living. I can also take him with me when I go on vacation or travel to some amazing destinations.
Yorkies are known to be a pain to housetrain, but I didn’t have much difficulty doing so with Mosby. He’s just a good boy!
I’m not sure who’s taking after one’s personality and interests, but I’ve noticed that we love pretty much the same things. We love the beach and we love food. He’s such an outdoorsy little guy with a fashion sense.
Mosby really looks great when he’s all dressed up but with nowhere to go. I think he’s secretly trying to take over my Instagram account. I wouldn’t be surprised if there are more pictures of him than of me in the immediate future.
I try not to spoil him too much, but sometimes I can’t help it. I feel guilty when I have to be away from him for days, so I make it up to him when I come home. When I went on a trip to New York, Mosby was not pleased with it.
Aside from being a ball of energy, Mosby is also a serial murderer of doggie toys. The death toll is five plushie toys and counting, including the remains of a tattered Yoda plushie. But I can’t be mad at him, they’re his toys anyway. Good thing he doesn’t destroy any of my things.
The great thing about being a dog mom to Mosby is that I always have something to look forward to after a show. No matter how tired I am, I make sure that I give him the love and attention that he needs. It’s the least I could do to my four-legged best friend for life.
